We selected the Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, and they truly thought of everything when they designed the space. Outfitted with a crazy comfortable Queen bed (I am very picky about my bed) with super soft Frette linens and comfortable pillows as well as convertible kids bunk beds, we really had space for everyone. All-new on-ship attractions
The Slide-a-Saurus Rex waterslide (water-coaster at sea) is located atop the ship and features a 765 ft (233 m) long 4-decks high transparent tube. The spinning tube reaches an incredible height of 150 ft (46 m) above sea level (there's a 42-inch / 107 cm height requirement). "Toy Story Splash Zone" is the kids' aquapark where the waterslide ends. The adults-only "Quiet Cove" pool area is a great place to hide from all the little angels and devils around the ship. The unique accommodation is sized 1965 ft2 (183 m2), with max capacity 8 passengers, and interior design themed on Walt Disney's 3D animation film "Moana" (2016). The Wish Tower Suite features 2x master bedrooms, 4x full bathrooms, half-bath (powder room), library (converting to a bedroom), kids' room (with built-in bunkbeds).
One of the most exciting "firsts" on board the Disney Wish is the first-ever Disney attraction at sea. AquaMouse is a family water attraction that brings Mickey shorts to life, and it will include show scenes, lighting and special effects, and more throughout its 760 feet of tubes perched above the upper decks. The adults-only spaces on Disney Wish are not clustered together in one area like they are on Disney's other ships. Packing a costume for your kids is 100 percent a MUST DO as the whole ship is dressed up in their Captain Hook finery. My kids are early risers, so they woke up just as we arrived at Castaway Cay, and we were able to eat our room service breakfast and drink coffee as we watched the boat dock from our private verandah. After breakfast, we decided to get ready and head out early to explore the island, which is much larger than what I had expected. It has multiple beaches, including an adults-only beach, an on-island kids club area, multiple restaurants, bars, stores, and several in-water attractions, including a play structure and two water slides. While we didn’t spend a ton of time in our room resting, I was most surprised by this space as it was so much lovelier and more comfortable than I had expected for a family of four.

Other family favorite features of the room were the Disney+ and unlimited Disney movies and shows on the TV, a large verandah with killer views, and a split bathroom set up (one space with toilet/sink and one with shower/tub and sink). The bathrooms were as nice as the room and spacious, considering you are on a boat. The water pressure was excellent in the shower, and the bathrooms were outfitted with Elemis bath products.

Like all Disney Cruise Ships, the Disney Wish offers something called rotational dining during the nightly dinner service — a Disney Cruise Line innovation. Rotational dining doesn’t mean you’re sitting in a revolving restaurant. Diners are pre-scheduled to visit a different restaurant on each night of the cruise on a schedule called a dining rotation.
It’s sort-of a Chef’s Table menu where the team chooses what to give you. And if you want to add on the champagne selection, it’s $140 per person. Since it is a buffet, the menu will vary, but you can expect to find standards such as bacon, eggs, waffles and omelets at breakfast, and burgers, fries, chicken tenders, and salads at lunch.
